Flex Scan
A new unique slit scanning ablation profile that reduces ablation volume, improves accuracy of the refractive correction and reduces spherical aberration induced by laser ablation. The scanning slit beam smoothly sweeps the cornea at different intervals in six directions over a 360-degree area, quickly ablating tissue with cool, overlapping ultraviolet energy.
MultiPointTM Ablation
For customized & individualized ablations, Nidek's segmental ablation system allows precise ablation of specific areas on the cornea to correct higher-order aberrations detected by the OPD-ScanTM which cannot be corrected by glasses or normal refractive surgery.
