NIDEK Co., Ltd. marked its 35th anniversary on August 8, 2006, and will hold a celebration at the Gamagori City Hall on August 12. Inviting the city mayor and many other guests, NIDEK will share the gratitude for having marked the 35th anniversary and the future corporate vision. In appreciation for the continuous support, NIDEK will donate 20 units of NV-300 Visual Acuity Meter to the City of Gamagori. Following the NV-300's voice guide, anyone can easily measure his/her visual acuity. The system will be placed in 13 elementary schools and 7 junior high schools in Gamagori.
