NIDEK Co., Ltd. announced its worldwide launch of the industry first ME-1000 Multifunction Edger. This milestone achievement marked NIDEK’s premier and dominant position and its long-standing commitment to R&D of innovative and advanced products for the optical dispensing and lens edging industries. The NIDEK ME-1000 is the industry’s first lens edger system with three-dimension drilling and multi-functionality, offering a unique and state-of-the-art lens edger for retail optical dispensing businesses.

The NIDEK ME-1000 Multifunction Edger utilizes advanced drilling motors, robotic technology and break-through precision software for controlling the precise and customized drilling angles and procedures needed for creating and offering customized lens edging with drilling. The NIDEK ME-1000 offers advanced versatility and artistry with its advanced and innovative technologies, offering a new evolution in lens edging and drilling with its many advanced features.
